The graduate program is tailored to build on the fundamentals to supply the students with the theoretical and practical skills in addition to pursuing original cutting-edge research throughout. Current areas of research include both theoretical and experimental aspects of surface science, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, inorganic chemistry and advanced material science. All applicants are required to have a B.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or in a related field of science or engineering. Students with a B.S. degree in areas other than chemistry may be requested to take several undergraduate courses in the field to acquire the necessary background.

IELTS required - 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each section. (IELTS score sheet should be sent directly from the test center to Bilkent University)
