Improving Wellbeing for People with Intellectual Disabilities

This one-of-a-kind programme in Scotland, the UK and internationally closes a gap in skills within health and social care services and the education sector that offers support to people with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour and mental ill-health. No other university-based positive behaviour support and psychological therapies qualifications are available Scotland, the wider UK and internationally specifically for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This is a unique qualification within the wider UK and internationally. It is well-placed to meet government guidance in relation to best practice. All applicants must have a current role in services for people with intellectual disabilities.
