Tourism Planning and Management

The Tourism Planning and Management focuses on the planning, development, management, and regeneration of destinations. Tourism continues to be a major component of the global economy and has now become an established academic discipline, with roots in geography, economics, sociology, planning and business. The course provides a thorough grounding in the subject and the planning/policy principles which underpin tourism but also has a strong emphasis on skills development for the workplace, including presentation skills, research, data analysis and negotiation.
