Students will study all the key areas of organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. You will gain experience in practical synthetic and analytical chemistry. Optional modules allow you to tailor your degree to your own interests. We have a major focus on studying green and sustainable chemistry. Choosing an optional module in this topic will show how we are using chemistry to tackle environmental challenges. There is flexibility to transfer between most chemistry degrees during the first year.

IB score of 32-34 is required (including 6 in chemistry at Higher Level). For 2021 entry, the application fee is 20 GBP for a single choice, or 26 GBP for more than one choice. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
