Criminology and Social Policy

Students will address questions like this on our joint honours BA Criminology and Social Policy, by studying a variety of modules from both subjects. This degree will broaden and deepen your understanding of crime as a social problem, and how we can respond to it most effectively. You can tailor your degree to your interests and career goals through optional modules that examine subjects like prisons and society, youth crime, miscarriages of justice, cults and the history of social policy. You can also enhance your CV by studying abroad at a partner institution in locations like Australia, the USA or Canada.



IB score of 32 is required. For 2021 entry, the application fee is 20 GBP for a single choice, or 26 GBP for more than one choice. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
