nternational Media and Communications Studies and Portuguese at Nottingham is a unique degree course. Portuguese is the sixth most spoken language in the world, and the fastest-growing European language behind English. This course enables you to develop your Portuguese language skills and learn about the history, culture, cinema and literature of the Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) world. You will also cover a range of subjects such as society, inter-cultural communications, and cultural studies. You will divide your studies equally between Portuguese and media and communications. At the end of the course, you will have a range of transferable skills. As well as advanced level Portuguese, you will have an understanding of international media and an in-depth understanding of Portuguese history and culture.

IB of 32 is required. For 2021 entry, the application fee is 20 GBP for a single choice, or 26 GBP for more than one choice. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
