Students conduct astronomical research by gathering data from our rooftop facilities and telescopes. You will also analyse data gathered by our academics using international facilities around the world and in space. The fourth year consists of student-centred learning with synoptic modules. You’ll focus your study in one or two specialist areas and complete a year-long research project. Under the guidance of our expert staff you will benefit from a range of learning styles. These include group work, delivering seminars, projects and independent learning.

IB 38 is required with 6 in maths, plus 6 in physics and 6 in a third subject all at Higher Level. For 2021 entry, the application fee is 20 GBP for a single choice, or 26 GBP for more than one choice. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
