This course focuses on the sophisticated theoretical techniques and applications of modern physics. You will study specialist astrophysics modules such as The Structure of Stars and Extreme Astrophysics. There is no practical study after year one. You will be taught all the key mathematical, computational and theoretical skills to help with your future career. Our students go on to further research at postgraduate level, or to work in industries such as engineering, aerospace, IT, and finance.

IB 38 is required with 6 in maths, plus 6 in physics and 6 in a third subject all at Higher Level. For 2021 entry, the application fee is 20 GBP for a single choice, or 26 GBP for more than one choice. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
