This course focuses on the sophisticated theoretical techniques and applications of modern physics. Optional modules on topics ranging from nanoscience to astronomy allow you to focus on a specialist area that interests you. Practical study will be replaced by more in-depth mathematical study. Our students go on to further research at postgraduate level, or to work in industries such as engineering, aerospace, IT, and finance.

IB of 38 is required with a 6 in maths, plus 6 in physics and 6 in a third subject all at Higher Level. For 2021 entry, the application fee is 20 GBP for a single choice, or 26 GBP for more than one choice. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
