This course covers all the essential engineering skills that top global companies are looking for in product design graduates. Our course will teach you essential skills including perspective sketching, design techniques, ergonomics, virtual reality and project management. You’ll have access to well-equipped labs and workshops to help with the hands-on parts of the course - all of which help you work towards becoming a chartered engineer. The third year of this course is spent in industry. You will receive support in applying for a year-long placement with an appropriate company. During the placement you will significantly enhance your engineering knowledge and skills. You will have regular meetings with your tutor throughout the year and will remain fully registered with the University.

IB of 34-32 is required with 5 in maths at Higher Level or 6 at Standard Level plus preferably Visual Arts at Higher or Standard Level excluding Maths Studies. For 2021 entry, the application fee is 20 GBP for a single choice, or 26 GBP for more than one choice. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
