The main purpose of teaching at the master's level in the Department of History is to create an infrastructure for young people in the field of history to have experience in accessing information at academic level, gain interpretation skills and prepare for the doctoral program. For this reason, students will be mainly engaged in research; student-advisor cooperation will be highlighted. Students who have a bachelor's degree from history departments and social science departments will have academic studies on the history of different nations, especially Turkish-Islamic History. Equipped with theoretical and applied knowledge in the field; Theses will be prepared to contribute to science nationally and internationally, to meet the needs of Turkey, and open to all kinds of cooperation; while doing this, they will be able to specialize in different branches of history. In our History Department, there are experienced academic staff who have worked in prestigious universities in Turkey and the world, and with these opportunities, it offers a quality education to the graduate program students.

The registration is open for education in Turkish, however, English Department will be established in 2023-2024. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. ACT score of 21 is accepted.
