The Master's programme in Biomedical Sciences is closely affiliated with the University of Amsterdam Academic Medical Center (AMC-UvA) and the Swammerdam Institute for Life Sciences (SILS). The programme also cooperates with various institutes both within and outside the UvA, including the Dutch Cancer Institute. At the UvA you can choose to do your Master’s programme with a society-/ business-oriented major or minor that focuses on other skills than doing research.
