Master of Science in Media and Communication Science

The programme covers areas such as climate psychology, sustainable development, transmedia storytelling and design - but above all you will learn to communicate about important topics.You will study the relationship between media and communication and the environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability. The education is closely connected to the research environment of JU, which has been published extensively in areas such as environmental communication, global journalism, transmedia storytelling, and communication for development. The programme is offered as 1-year (60 credits) and 2-year (120 credits). The latter is an extension of the former, which means that all students study together during the first year.
