To prepare a culturally diverse student body for successful professional careers grounded in strong engineering knowledge, a culture of innovation, and an awareness of the global societal, economic, and environmental contexts within which computer engineering and technology decisions are made. The computer engineering undergraduate program bridges the gap between electrical engineering and computer science, with a curriculum that focuses on hardware-software integration, while preparing students for successful professional careers in areas such as computer hardware design, database engineering, and computer network security.

Students applying for certain bachelor programs are required to sit for the Math Accuplacer exam at AUD. Applicants with an SAT score of 560 (Mathematics) will be exempt from taking the Math Accuplacer™ exam, except for Engineering students. Non-refundable application fee of 420 AED. A reservation deposit (non-refundable) of AED 5,000, which is fully applied toward tuition, is required upon acceptance for admission. Keep in mind that the tuition fee is calculated in national currency and therefore, may be subject to change.
