Students learn chemistry, microbiology, and process technology required to manufacture high-quality dairy products. The qualification covers the dairy industry structure, strategy, organisation, and function, including legislation and safety.

Keep in mind that this program is not offered as direct entry and requires completion of a pathway program. The tuition fee is estimated upon national currency and therefore, is subject to change. Moreover, it may also vary due to individual courses a student enrolls in. It is important to note that, this qualification is only available to candidates who have approved employment in the New Zealand dairy industry.
