The aim of the BA Human Resource Management and Leadership program is to develop a global business graduate with a well-rounded and state-of-the-art HR management and leadership expertise, and a skill set that can be adapted to different business settings. The program encourages students to delve deep into the dynamics of employee behaviour and the impact this has on the functioning of organisations. As such, students will learn how to manage a diverse workforce through topics such as intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, work engagement, continuous professional development, and performance management. Moreover, students will explore recruitment and selection through topics such as job design, identifying the skills and competencies needed for a job, where to advertise and how to choose the right person for a wide pool of applicants whilst simultaneously being aware of legal and ethical requirements.
